Over the past 100 years, we have remained dedicated to the needs of McDowell County, providing advanced healthcare services and compassionate care while always putting our patients' needs first. We've come a long way from the makeshift facility first founded in 1908. Today, The McDowell Hospital stands proud as a 65-bed facility with advanced acute care services and a variety of outreach centers throughout the community and its surrounding areas.
